Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police said Wednesday that a second man has been arrested and charged in the death of a Dotty’s casino manager last week.
Police say 60 year-old Alicia Gibellina was killed after she was run over by a SUV driven by 28 year-old Samuel Schmid. Police say that Gibellina had chased after Schmid because he had stolen a customer’s purse from the Dotty’s at Flamingo and Jones
Schmid was arrested in Riverside County, California, and is currently being held without bail at the Clark County Detention Center.
Wednesday, police say that 54 year-old James Holmes was arrested as an accomplice in the case, though what Holmes’ role was wasn’t specified. Holmes was taken into custody and transported to CCDC, where he was booked for open murder, robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery.
