Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - So far this month, The Animal Foundation has taken in over 2,200 animals. In response to the influx, the AF is waiving adoption fees for all pets in the shelter on Friday, June 28, and Saturday, June 29 so they can make room for new arrivals during the busy 4th of July period. This includes puppies and kittens.
Currently, there are more than 250 animals in the shelter available for adoption.
With the 4th of July coming, the Foundation says they expect to take in hundreds of animals next week. Adoptions are crucial to help make space in the shelter ahead of this expected busy time.
The fee-waived adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, microchip, and up-to-date vaccines for all animals. A $10 license fee may apply.
