Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – For the fourth time in a month, Las Vegas Metro Police have had to arrest one of their own.
In the latest case, LVMPD Officer Gary Moody was arrested on Sunday and booked into the Clark County Detention Center for the following charges:
- 1 count of Prevent/Dissuade Report of Crime/Cause Prosecution or Causing of Arrest
- 1 count of Domestic Battery, First Offense
Moody has been employed with LVMPD since 2022. He is assigned to the Community Safety Division, Bolden Area Command.
Metro didn’t release any details on what led to Moody’s arrest.
Moody will be placed on suspension of police powers with pay pending further investigation.
