Metro Police said Friday that 31-year-old Oscar Richardson was arrested in San Antonio, but details of the arrest have not yet been released.

Back on November 23rd, police say Richardson entered a Teriyaki Madness restaurant on West Charleston and shot and killed a man, later identified as Marcus Larry. A female employee of the restaurant was also shot, but her wounds were not life-threatening.

Investigators say that Richardson targeted Larry, but haven’t said why that was the case. Larry had a criminal history in North Las Vegas between 2003 and 2009. In 2009, he faced multiple counts of conspiracy to commit murder with a deadly weapon, among other charges.

Nevada Department of Corrections records show Larry was sentenced in Sept. 2009 on consecutive sentences for conspiracy to commit murder and attempted murder. He was released from prison in Sept. 2020.
