Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – North Las Vegas Police say they have two men in custody, charged in separate murders.

The first homicide happened back in late May when a 17-year-old boy was found shot to death at an apartment complex in the 2100 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North.

NLVPD said that 19-year-old Hector Paramo-Cervantes was arrested for that shooting on Tuesday.

The second killing occurred on August 11th. Police went to a business in the 5900 block of Losee Road on a shots fired call, finding a 20-year old man badly wounded at the scene. He was rushed to U.M.C. but passed away two days later.

18-year-old Aulijah Muhammed-Leavelle was arrested for the killing on Tuesday. No other details were given.

Both Paramo-Cervantes and Muhammed-Leavelle were booked into the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center on Open Murder charges.
