Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Bail was set at $25,000 Thursday for a man charged with sexually assaulting a woman last week.
18-year -old Laparese Jones was arrested Wednesday after a weeklong search that Metro says spanned an estimated 1,000 homes.
On March 8th, a woman was walking her dog near Torrey Pines and Lake Mead when she was attacked. She was able to fight off her attacker, call 911 and give a detailed description to police, who released a sketch of the suspect.
Jones now faces a host of charges, the most serious of which could get him a sentence of life in prison.
