Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A Clark County School District substitute teacher has been arrested for bringing a gun onto a high school campus.

52-year-old Jynnell McClellan was arrested Monday after a gun she had was discovered in the parking lot of Legacy High School. She was booked into the Clark County Detention Center.

CCSD stressed that at no time were students or staff under threat.

McClellen has been employed by the district since 2015. She’s been removed the district’s pool of substitutes and is no longer eligible to sub in the district, according to CCSD.
