Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – The Clark County School District Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find a woman they say tried to ram one of their officers while that officer was trying to conduct a traffic stop.
CCSDPD says they had originally attempted to pull over a car for speeding through a school zone when the second vehicle came up and attempted to strike the officer and run him off the road.
Both vehicles fled the scene.
The car that was speeding through the school zone was discovered to be stolen. The vehicle was recovered, but the driver fled on foot and remains at large.
The driver who tried to run the CCSDPD officer off the road is described as a Hispanic woman with dark hair, 25-35 years-old. She was driving a silver 2016-18 Hyundai Tucson with a Findlay paper plate.
Anyone with more information is asked to call CCSDPD at 702-799-5411.
