Clark County’s Department of Aviation appoints a new boss

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - The Clark County on Tuesday appointed James C. Chrisley as the next Director of Aviation for the Clark County Department of Aviation.

Chrisley takes over the job from Rosemary Vassiliadis, who has held the position since 2013. His first day on the job will be September 12th.

Chrisley assumes leadership of one of the nation’s busiest airport networks, which includes Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) - one of the top 10 busiest airports in North America, as well as Henderson Executive Airport (HND), North Las Vegas (VGT), Jean Sport Aviation Center, and Overton-Perkins Field.

Prior to joining the Clark County Department of Aviation, Chrisley served more than 21 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Civil Engineering and Mission Support Officer where he directed critical security, airfield operations, logistics, and emergency services in support of global military missions.
