Cooling stations re-opening as more extreme heat hits southern Nevada

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – With another round of excessive heat settling in to southern Nevada, Clark County officials are once again opening up so-called “cooling stations” where people (and their pets) can go to escape the heat.

The cooling stations will open on Wednesday and will stay open until Saturday night, August 23rd, as high temperatures through the region hovering around 110 each day.
