County approves more stops for Musk's "Vegas Loop" transportation system

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Clark County officials on Wednesday gave the green light to an expansion of the so-called “Vegas Loop" system of underground tunnels being constructed by Elon Musk’s The Boring Company.

In all, 18 new stations were approved, as were another 25 miles of tunnels

Currently, the Vegas Loop operates a three-station tunnel that spans the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Included in the list of new stops are The Thomas and Mack Center, Palace Station, Town Square, The El Cortez, UNLV Housing and the Las Vegas Premium Outlets.

No timetable was given for the project’s completion. More stops are planned in the valley through years ahead.
