The last day of operations for the Sam Boyd Stadium site, which offers drive-thru COVID-19 testing and vaccinations, will be Thursday, March 10, officials announced on Tuesday.

The Texas Station site and an operation at the Fiesta Henderson, which closed Feb. 2, opened in early January in response to a surge in local testing demand following the holidays and as COVID-19 cases increased due to the Omicron variant. To date, the combined operations have administered more than 28,900 tests.

The Southern Nevada Health District continues to offer free COVID-19 vaccines and tests at several community sites listed on its website at www.snhd.info/covid. Other locations offering tests and vaccinations, including local pharmacies, also can be found on the Nevada Response website at https://nvhealthresponse.nv.gov/.
