County Commission approves hiring of additional crossing guards

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – The Clark County Commission voted unanimously on Tuesday to expand crossing guards to middle schools in unincorporated areas of Clark County.

23 middle schools will be added in addition to the 100 elementary schools already staffed by guards.

Hiring is currently underway to help fill the new positions, which will begin work in the fall semester.

The position pays $16 per hour, and applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
