County Commission passes anti-Asian hate resolution

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - The Clark County Commission has taken a stand against Asian American hate.

The Commission adopted an anti-hate proclamation on Tuesday. The proclamation condemns and fights racism, xenophobia, and intolerance against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, and it received unanimous support.

Commissioner Tick Segerblom presented the proclamation at Tuesday's meeting.

Though there have been a number of anti-Asian attacks around the country recently, there have been no reported events in the Las Vegas area
