Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Clark County Commissioner Justin Jones said Tuesday that he would not be running for re-election in 2026.
Jones, who serves as commissioner for District F in the southwest valley, made the announcement yesterday on social media.
Jones said he made the decision after talking with family and thinking about the demands of another campaign.
Jones, a Democrat, said that even though he’s not running, he will work hard to make sure that the District F seat stays in Democratic hands.
No Democrat has announced that they’re running for Jones’ seat. Republican assemblywoman Heidi Kasama threw her hat in the ring for it last week.
