Las Vegas, NV (NV)- Drivers using 95S are used to heavy delays during their morning commute, but the inconvenience felt by many on Thursday had nothing to do with volume or accidents
A power line snapped and went down in the southbound lanes just before 9am. As a precaution, law enforcement and NV Energy crews had to shut down all southbound lanes, diverting traffic off at the Ann and Craig Road exits. Northbound lanes weren’t affected.
It’s not known what caused the power line to snap. No injuries were reported.
