Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – An 18 year-old man faces charges after police say he caused a fatal crash on Monday afternoon while driving recklessly.

The crash happened around 3pm on a stretch of Deer Springs west of Revere in North Las Vegas. Police say that Brandon Iglesias was heading westbound on Deer Springs at a high rate of speed when he struck a second car that was heading through an intersection.
The driver and passenger in the car that was struck were both taken to U.M.C. The passenger was later pronounced dead. The driver’s condition isn’t known.
Iglesias faces felony reckless driving charges. North Las Vegas Police haven’t said if impairment was a factor in the crash
