Metro seeking driver in fatal hit and run

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police are looking for the driver of a car that struck and killed a pedestrian, then fled the scene.

It happened around 6:30 Wednesday morning on Jones south of Flamingo.

Metro investigators say that a woman was sitting or kneeling in the road when she was struck. She was rushed to University Medical Center but died from her injuries. Her identity has not yet been released.

Metro says the vehicle they’re looking for is a white Maserati Levante that would have front-end damage. The SUV was last seen traveling west on Flamingo.
