Driver sought after fleeing scene of fatal crash

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police are looking for the driver of a silver sedan that they say struck and killed a man out riding his bike on Thursday night.

The crash happened on the westbound side of Stewart east of Pecos just after 11pm. Police say the car struck the bicyclist, only identified as a 50 year old man, then fled.

The bicyclist was taken to U.M.C., but died from their injuries.

The car is described as a silver mid-2000 model with damage to the right front grille, bumper, and passenger side mirror.
