The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for southern Nevada, beginning Tuesday morning at 10 and continuing all the way through Sunday night.

In response to the hot weather, Clark County has opened up a number of “cooling stations” where those who need to can escape the heat.

High temperatures in Las Vegas are expected to land between 105 and 110 each day. With the weather heating up, the air is drying out, and chances for rain are limited to the higher elevations for the remainder of the week.
