Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Both sides of I-15 were closed near Mesquite for several hours Wednesday night due to a fatal crash involving several semis and a sedan.
The crash happened just before 5:30 at mile marker 122.
Nevada Highway Patrol reported that a semi headed in the northbound direction lost control and veered across the median and into another semi heading in the southbound direction.
The driver of the truck that veered into the southbound lanes was the person who was killed. Their identity has not yet been released
NHP initially reported that 4 people were dead before correcting it to one. The official cause of the crash is still under investigation.
