The Las Vegas men, identified as Louis Rodriguez and Josue Reynoso, are accused of buying stolen catalytic converters and them selling them to a business for profit. Those selling the converters were undercover FBI agents.

The company that bought the converters was not named in the FBI’s report, but the agency says the company paid the men more than $4 million in wire transfers between March of 2021 and July of 2022.

The arrests came on the same day as FBI offices across the country arrested nearly two dozen people on similar charges.
