Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Thick smoke blanketed the Arts District Tuesday night after a 2-alarm fire broke out in a vacant commercial building.
Las Vegas Fire and Rescue were first called to the scene at 3rd and Charleston around 6:30pm.
Three people who had taken up residence in the building were able to get out once firefighters arrived, but one had to be taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. That person is listed in stable condition.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No firefighters were hurt.
