Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – For the second time in recent weeks, a large fire broke out at Wetlands Park near Sam Boyd Stadium.
The latest blaze was first reported around 7 on Wednesday night. Clark County Fire and Rescue were able to quickly beat back and contain the flames before they were able to spread. There were no reports of injuries or damage to any structures.
A fire that broke out at Wetlands Park back on March 31st scorched 34 acres of dry brush and took three days to contain. Like Wednesday’s fire, there were no injuries or structure damage.
Investigators say that the earlier, larger fire was human-caused. What’s to blame for Wednesday’s blaze isn’t yet known.
