Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A two-alarm fire destroyed a lighting business on East Sahara early Tuesday.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue responded to the call at Statewide Lighting, on Sahara west of Maryland Parkway, around 3:45am and encountered heavy smoke upon arrival. Once inside, they discovered a dumpster and some pallets burning.
Investigators say the fear of the building collapsing forced them to battle the fire from the outside. It took several hours before the fire was under control. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation
