Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - A former wrestling coach at Mojave High School was arrested earlier this week on charges he sexually assaulted a student.
25-year-old Rene Ruiz was booked into the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center on Tuesday, charged with sexual assault, lewdness, being a school employee engaging in sexual acts with a pupil 16 years of age or older, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Police didn’t give many details about the victim, only saying that the person was a student at Mojave High School.
Police are wondering if there might be more victims and are asking possible victims of Ruiz to contact the North Las Vegas Police Department at 702-633-9111.
