“National Public Lands Day this Saturday is the perfect time to visit the park and enjoy the peace and relaxation you can find in nature,” said Ward 6 Councilwoman Michele Fiore. “Bring a picnic and take time to enjoy the park for free!”

Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs is the only one of the 73 city of Las Vegas parks that charges admission. Daily admission at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs is $6 per vehicle, with free admission for active-duty military, veterans and the disabled. Free admission also is offered daily to pedestrians, bicycle riders and those on horseback. Beginning Oct. 1, park hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The historic Tule Springs Ranch is tucked inside the park and provides opportunities for visitors to learn about the traditional working ranch and early Las Vegas lifestyle. Fishing is allowed in the ponds, but a fishing license from the Nevada Department of Wildlife is required. Other park amenities include walking/jogging paths, horse trails, barbecue grills, reservable picnic areas, mountain bike trails and pump track for BMX and bike riders, volleyball court, restrooms and wildlife.
