Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Red Rock Resorts, the parent company of Station Casinos, announced on Tuesday that its newest property’s opening would be delayed.
Red Rock issued a release that said that the Durango Resort and Casino on South Durango and 215 would have its grand opening on December 5th. The original grand opening date was November 20th.
No reason was given for the delay.
According to the press release, resort employees will be compensated for missed salaries and tips for that period, and guests with room reservations were promised priority booking for future dates or rebooking at a different Station Casinos property.
Those with restaurant reservations will be contacted by Station Casinos officials to make accommodations.
