Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A Las Vegas woman pled guilty Tuesday to multiple charges related to a crash that killed a father and son who were struck at a bus stop.
The crash happened back in April. Investigators say that 64-year-old Cynthia Phelps was speeding and going the wrong way on Boulder Highway near Sahara when the car went up on the sidewalk and struck a family of five.
A man and his 14-year-old son were killed. The man’s wife and two other young kids suffered serious injuries.
Sentencing for Phelps is scheduled for August 19th. She faces anywhere from two years to a maximum of 20 years in prison for each of the three counts she faces.
