Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Henderson Police busted 40 people recently in a pair of retail theft “blitz” operations.
According to a release sent out by HPD, two such operations were done. Though not saying exactly where they were conducted, HPD said that the operations happened in some of Henderson’s “largest shopping corridors”.
In a partnership between HPD Property Detectives, HPD Patrol Division, several local retail locations, and their Loss Prevention staff, the blitzes began just before Thanksgiving and will continue through the holiday shopping season.
In addition to the 40 arrests, more than $6,400 in stolen property was recovered and returned to the retailers.
Included in these arrests were numerous repeat offenders, multiple offenders with active arrest warrants for other crimes, and offenders currently part of larger, ongoing Organized Retail Theft series.
