
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating a pair of hit and run accidents, including one that left a pedestrian dead.
The first happened Monday night near Sahara and Lamb. Police say that just before 7pm, a person on a bike was making a turn and steered into the path of a car. The driver continued on and left the scene. The car, a Mazda 3, was found near the scene a short time later buy the driver remains at large.
The bicyclist’s condition was last reported as critical.
Early Tuesday, a pedestrian was struck and killed outside of a marked crosswalk near Sahara and Valley View. The driver in that incident also fled the scene, but returned several hours later.
Police say that driver, identified as 29-year-old Angelo Marinas-Pascua, told police where his car was, and was taken into custody.
