Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – As one of the biggest road construction projects in Las Vegas’ history gets ready to officially wrap up, one of the more unpopular restrictions will return.
Beginning Friday, High-Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane rules will be implemented once again along I-15 between the Spring Mountain Road and Silverado Ranch.
Rules had been lifted while the I-15/Tropicana interchange was being rebuilt, but now that that project is completed, the original HOV rules will return.
Those rules: HOV lanes are to be used exclusively by drivers with passengers between the hours of 6a-8a, and 4p-6p, Monday through Friday.
Motorcycle riders and buses can use the HOV lanes 24/7.
