
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police say a woman driving impaired caused a crash involving a school bus on Monday morning in the central valley.
The crash happened just after 6am on Lindell, just south of Sahara. Investigators say the driver of a white sedan ran a stop sign and hit the bus. The force off the accident sent the bus off the road into a tree.
There were six students on the bus at the time of the accident. None of them suffered serious injuries. The bus driver is said to have suffered a possible broken leg.
The bus belongs to the private Nevada Prep Charter School.
The woman who caused ran the stop sign wasn’t seriously hurt. She now faces several charges.
