Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Two people suffered critical injuries in a crash that involved 7 cars late Monday night at a major east-side intersection.
The crash happened at the intersection of Boulder Highway and Desert Inn just after 10:30pm.
Investigators say that the driver of a pickup heading south on Boulder Highway ran a red light and struck a sedan at a high rate of speed, sending that car into several others who were stopped at a red light.
The intersection was closed for roughly 9 hours for investigation.
Police arrested the driver of the pickup, who they believe was driving impaired.
