Dust off and wash up your masks.

The Southern Nevada Health District Friday recommended vaccinated and unvaccinated people for COVID19 wear masks in the area's crowded indoor places where people would have contact with people not fully vaccinated against the virus.

The recommendation comes as COVID19 case count rises in the state, and vaccination rates decline.

Places where mask use are recommended include grocery stores, large events, malls and casinos.

There is no official mask mandate in place for Las Vegas or Southern Nevada. Los Angeles County will reinstate its indoor mask mandate late Saturday.
