Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A Las Vegas man was arrested and charged with setting off several explosions which led to a fire in a restroom at Paris Las Vegas earlier in the week.
Police say surveillance video led them to identify Kenny Terry in the case. Terry faces charges of first-degree arson and obstruction of a public officer.
The incident happened Monday morning when Metro Police got calls about a trio of small explosions. The fire was quickly put out, but led to a smoky haze that could be seen throughout the casino floor.
No one was hurt. Damage done by the fire was estimated at $50,000
Terry, who claims to be homeless, was released from jail and told to stay out of trouble until his next court appearance. That’s set for August 15th.
