Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police have arrested a man they say shot and killed his girlfriend Wednesday afternoon at a central valley apartment complex.
Police were first called to the area near Jones and Flamingo around 4:30pm and found a woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported to a hospital, but died from those wounds.
Shortly after, Metro took the woman’s boyfriend, 30-year-old Jimmy Ramirez, into custody. He’s currently at the Clark County Detention Center on a charge of open murder.
Police didn't say what led up to the shooting, but said that say the pair had a long history of domestic violence incidents. The female victim’s identity has not yet been released.
