Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A Valley man is in the hospital after police say he stabbed his wife to death, then turned the knife on himself.
It happened Saturday morning at a home near Washington and Torrey Pines. Police received a call about a suicidal man at the residence and when they arrived saw the married couple suffering from stab wounds.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the man was rushed to U.M.C., where he’s currently in critical condition.
The man, identified as 33-year-old Shiva Gummi, was booked in absentia into the Clark County Detention Center on a charge of Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon.
