
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Metro Police say they have arrested a man for murdering his girlfriend last week.
Last Friday morning, Metro was contacted by representatives from University Medical Center about a woman who was dropped off with gunshot wounds.
When they arrived, officers were told that the woman had died
Through the course of the investigation, LVMPD Homicide detectives identified 30-year- old Kevin Osborne as the suspect in this crime. Osborne was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center for Open Murder.
The victim was identified as 27 year-old Candice Cooks.
Police say they believe Osborne shot Cooks in a car at an apartment complex 4 miles away from U.M.C, then dropped her at at the hospital’s emergency room. Investigators believe the shooting was “over a prostitution-related theft.”, but didn’t specify any more than that.
