Man charged with setting fire outside Metro headquarters

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police have arrested a man who they say intentionally set fire to some landscaping outside of Metro’s headquarters near MLK and Alta.

35-year-old Christian Vega was arrested on Sunday and now faces two counts of 3rd-degree arson and one count of malicious destruction of private property.

The fire, which was set on Saturday morning, didn’t cause any serious damage and no one was hurt.
