Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police are asking for the public’s help to find the people responsible for stabbing a man to death on the valley’s east side.

Police were called to an area near Charleston and Pecos around 3:30 Tuesday morning and found a man suffering from stab wounds. That person was taken to UMC Trauma, but died from his injuries.

Investigators say they think the man may have been in the process of sexually assaulting a woman in the area, and her screams drew a group over.
They say the man alleged to be committing the sexual assault was then stabbed. The group then left the scene before police showed up.
