22-year old Luke Saunders was found dead Friday near the Spring Mountain and Red Rock Canyon area.
Saunders, who was an airman at Nellis Air Force Base, was last seen around 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
Investigators Friday said that Saunders had slipped while hiking and fell an estimated 250 feet to his death. No other details were released.
