Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police are asking for the public’s help to find a man seen tossing a chihuahua into a dumpster.
The incident happened on Monday morning in a neighborhood near Smoke Ranch and Jones.
In video taken from a neighboring house, a shirtless man in red shorts is seen holding the dog by its neck and tosses it into a Republic Services bin and walking away. He returns shortly after and closes the bin’s lid.
The dog was discovered the next day and rushed to a veterinarian, where its said to be doing fine.
