42-year-old Porfirio Duarte-Herrera was unaccounted for Tuesday. He’s serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole for murder.

Back in 2007, Duarte-Herrera and another man were convicted for the killing of a 24-year-old man when a bomb that hidden in a coffee cup exploded in the Luxor employee parking area. Investigators say the victim was targeted because he was dating Duarte-Herrera’s ex-girlfriend.

Duarte-Herrera was missing from a count at the prison Tuesday morning, sources said.
