
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Las Vegas Metro Police say they’ve arrested a man they believe is responsible for a string of casino robberies and carjackings that began last November.
Police say 33-year-old Dshante Styles committed his first robberies back on November 16.
In all, police say Styles committed 8 armed robberies and 6 casino robberies.
Police located a stolen vehicle that was linked to Styles in the 2300 block of Silverado Ranch Boulevard on Tuesday, but they lost him after he fled the scene. Police located Styles again on Thursday and he was taken into custody.
Styles faces several charges, including six counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of attempted robbery with a deadly weapon, 11 counts of burglary with a deadly weapon and five counts of grand larceny auto.
Police say that Styles served time twice in Nevada for similar previous offenses in 2008 and 2009
