
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Metro Police have arrested a man sought in a California homicide who fled the state with his young son.
Celestine Stoot Jr and his 2-year-old son Celestine Stoot III, had last been seen on Monday in Lake Elsinore, California.
Stoot Jr. was taken into custody Tuesday night without incident. Details about the arrest haven't yet been released. He’s currently at CCDC awaiting extradition back to California. The boy was unharmed and will be reunited with family.
In addition to taking the boy, Stoot Jr. is the prime suspect in the murder of his girlfriend, whose body was discovered in Lake Elsinore on Monday.
