Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police have arrested a driver they say left the scene of a fatal auto-pedestrian accident on the night of Easter Sunday.
The incident happened just after 10pm along Tropicana between Hualapai and Grand Canyon. The LVMPD say that a woman was either kneeling or lying in the eastbound lanes when she was stuck.
41-year-old Natale Burton was taken to University Medical Center but died from her injuries
Surveillance footage was released of the car being sought, which led investigators to identify 22-year-old Dora Henderson as the driver. She was taken to the Clark County Detention Center, where her bail was set at $100,000.
