Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police Thursday say they’ve arrested a man and charged him with leaving the scene of a fatal auto-pedestrian accident that happened early Monday morning.
Police say 26-year-old Moe Kahn was taken into custody, but no details surrounding the arrest were made.
Investigators say that a 38-year-old Justin Pakele was lying in the right travel lane on southbound Maryland Parkway near Sunrise Hospital around 4am Monday when the car Kahn was driving ran him over. Police released pictures of the type of car seen leaving the scene.
Kahn was booked into CCDC on suspicion of DUI and driving while on a revoked license.
Police don’t know why Pakele was lying in the road, but said that he had just been released from Sunrise Hospital shortly before the incident occurred.
