Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police have made an arrest in the case of a woman suspected of beating an elderly person with a rock on the northwest side.
Police credited the public for helping to identify the suspect in the attacks 33-year-old Savannah. The incident happened near Lake Mead and Rainbow on March 23rd. In a surveillance picture taken from a store near the crime scene, Johnson can be seen holding a large rock that police say she used against the victim.
Metro arrested Johnson on Wednesday, but released no other details about the arrest.
Johnson was booked into CCDC and charged with battery resulting in substantial bodily harm on a vulnerable victim/older person.
