Metro arrests suspect in series of Chinatown burglaries

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police have a man in custody who they say is behind numerous burglaries in the Chinatown area of Las Vegas.

Metro said in total, Cedric Hassan stole more than $100,000 from the various businesses in the heists that that took place between June and September. They also say that they believe Hassan acted alone but aren’t ruling out additional suspects.

Hassan faces nearly three-dozen counts of Burglary of a Business and Theft.

During a Wednesday court appearance, a judge set Hassan's bail at $500,000.
